New Roommate Rents Two Rooms, Only Expects To Pay For One Room

Well oh well, this new roommate is coming in hot on the scene with all kinds of red flag behavior. Their reasoning for why they shouldn't be on the hook for paying for the 2/3 rooms that they're occupying is total nonsense. Sounds like the best move here could be to backtrack on this particular new roommate, and get someone new in there. I said that to her and she said that "because her kid's not an adult she doesn't count, and she's by her dad half the time anyway ". It's not like you'll be hanging out in the kid's room using it as an office when she's at her dad's. The space will still be occupied by her. She's trying to scam you in order to save some cash.
